ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Nate!

HOW I GOT STARTED

My creative journey began in high school when I studied Creative Photography and Digital Art Imaging where I first learned Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Illustrator. I always had a keen eye for design in the real world and this elective coursework helped me turn my ideas into feasible works.

For a while, photo and design were my hobbies of passion.

It wasn’t until I was behind a tuba on Doak Campbell Stadium playing with the Florida State University Marching Chiefs among a community that valued shared moments and honest expression, where that creative drive truly came into focus. What started as an admiration for sports photography and design turned into an obsession for capturing visual stories and the world around me.

THEN WHAT?

I am currently an undergraduate student at Florida State University studying Media & Communication Studies and Integrated Marketing Communications with plans to continue IMC and graphic design in FSU graduate school.

Through college I started to dabble in media management for my music fraternity @phimualphaei, tuba section @fsuroyalflush, and later my service fraternity @aphio_fsu. These groups allowed me to take full creative liberty of their media presence and to further explore my photography and graphic design passions.

It did not take long before I was commissioned for my first graduate photoshoot in Spring 2024. My drive for capturing the moment only grew from there as my love for photoshoots turned into freelance photography.

Currently, I offer graduation shoots, professional headshots, recital and event photography, and creative photography.

Although, I personally love landscape and street photography on the side.

Thank you for taking the time to explore my page and digital portfolio, if you like my work or want to see more follow me on Instagram.
